My standard fee is $125 for a 50-minute session.  I am always willing to discuss the option of a reduced fee, when needed.   

After much deliberation, I have decided not to work directly with health insurance companies.  Clients pay me an agreed-upon per-session fee in full, and I provide monthly statements with all the information needed to file with your health insurance company, should you choose.  My clients typically receive 50%-75% reimbursement on their payments to me.  Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment is typically due at the end of each session.  If we are meeting regularly, I am willing to discuss the option of one monthly payment instead.  Cash, checks or credit/debit cards are accepted forms of payment.  If you choose to use your credit/debit card, your payment will increase by 2.75% (the fee I am charged by the credit card company per "swipe").

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, I may ask you to pay the full cost of the session.
